DESCRIPTION:This session is available to:\nAdventurers (Gr. 3,4)\nBlazers (Gr. 5)\nVoyageurs (Gr. 6)\nPioneers (Gr. 7)\nExplorers (Gr. 8)\nSeekers (Gr. 9)\nLeaders (Gr. 10)\nPacers (Gr. 11)\nA full session is structured to combine fun with the satisfaction of accomplishment. The program is specifically designed to provide variety and change in the camp experience. Mornings include scheduled learning opportunities in camp activities. In the afternoons, campers choose two activities from a variety of options that change daily, with most campers having a swimming and lifesaving class each day.\nThe tripping program is included and is optional for campers entering Grade 7 onwards.\nParticipating in camp traditions is a key component of attending a full camp session. Campers who are 16 will focus on achieving the Lifesaving Society’s National Lifeguard Service (NLS) and/or Swim & Lifesaving Instructor certifications. These courses prepare individuals to lifeguard and to teach and evaluate swimming strokes and lifesaving skills.
