Glen Bernard Camp Alumni Network

It’s no secret that summer camp changes you in so many ways. From the treasured people and experiences we cherish, to the long-lasting impact GBC has on our lives, camp’s influence is far-reaching. Because of this, many alum have looked for ways to ‘extend’ our camp experience and remain engaged with the community; to give back, to stay connected, to continue to learn and grow. The GBC Alumni Network is here for all these reasons.

The Alumni Network is a group created by alumni, for alumni.

Initiated with the purpose of “establishing, building and fostering a global network of GBC Alumni, to keep generations of alumni engaged with one another and in the future of the camp”, the GBC Alumni Network has grown from a spark of an idea following the 100th Season to the expanding community it is today. The four working groups currently established (Networking, Storytelling, Events & Communication) have projects and activities underway, building momentum towards the 105th season and beyond. Details about the exciting projects and initiatives being led by these groups are included in this issue of the Gold & Blue.
