WATER ACTIVITIES

Based on the Lifesaving Society program, our swim and life saving classes are instructed by qualified staff members. Every camper needs aquatic skills in order to get the most enjoyment from water based activities in the safest way.

The art of canoeing, which is so much a part of our Canadian heritage, takes us places we cannot reach by any other means. As in all skill programs at GBC, a series of levels challenges each camper, from beginner to advanced.

Kayaking is an exciting and challenging sport that is very popular at Glen Bernard. Learn basic flat water kayaking skills, and progress to mastering an Eskimo roll!

Nothing can match the thrill of skillfully capturing the wind and feeling the spray of water on our faces! The sailing program provides an opportunity for both the beginner and advanced sailor to improve her skills. Glen Bernard's fleet includes: Lasers, Hobie Waves, Bytes, Picos, Fevas plus a number of board sails in a variety of sizes.

We love fun on the water at GBC! Our line-up of water toys includes Space Mountain, Saturn, Jungle Jim, peddle boats, stand up paddle boards, aqua bikes and more!
